Amy is a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Manager at Nuttall, Howes & Associates with over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive tax services for individuals, businesses, estates, and trusts. She has developed a strong passion for estate and trust taxation and compliance. With deep expertise in the intricacies of estate and trust laws, Amy is committed to ensuring compliance with Florida Statutes and Probate Rules, Internal Revenue Code, and trust governing documents. Throughout her career, Amy has provided a comprehensive range services, including preparing and reviewing estate and trust tax returns and accountings and assisting with trust administration.
In addition to her work with trusts and estates, Amy has extensive experience managing complex tax issues related to individuals and small to medium sized businesses. With a deep understanding of complex tax codes and strategies, she takes pride in guiding clients through every stage of the process—from initial planning and preparation to filing and compliance.
With a commitment to ongoing professional development, Amy has attended the annual IRS Nationwide Tax Forum, Thomson Reuters Synergy Conference, as well as many other continuing education opportunities locally and online.
Amy graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in June 2002. While attending USF, she was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi honors accounting fraternity. She is a member of the Indian River Estate Planning Council and an affiliate member of the Florida Institute of Public Accounting.
During her free time, Amy enjoys relaxing outdoors, whether on the beach, hiking, bicycling, or vacationing in the Carolinas.
